I was creative director and co-writer on Huawei and the decision to run a print campaign was only taken to lend this unheard of Chinese brand some legitimacy.  I'm glad it was because it established a great tone of voice for the brand and the ads stand out like dogs balls (sorry have great cut through) in the mobile phone category.  Oh and uawei reached their entire year’s sales target in the first month of activity (which was nice).  

2 x Bronze Awards, 2 x nomination

Anomaly got me in as a CD and some-time writer on a charming little campaign for Captain Morgan. The pick of the bunch was this one, conceived, written and directed by the amazingly talented Craig Ainsley (who actually isn't a control freak).  More surprising still is how it managed to sail through Diageo's normal butcheringsorryapprovals process.
